Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RUVBL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RUVBL2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RUVBL2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RUVBL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where RUVBL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
