Across TCGA patient cohorts, RUBCN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,373 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RUBCN-associated genes across cancer lineages are PTPN22, HYKK, and LILRB2. Each is linked with RUBCN in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RUBCN-to-partner and partner-to-RUBCN results are reported.
