Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RUBCN RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RUBCN data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RUBCN RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RUBCN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ESCA show a favorable association.
LIHC, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where RUBCN RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
