Across TCGA patient cohorts, RTL5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 16 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RTL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PLCL1, MMP21, and MALT1. Each is linked with RTL5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RTL5-to-partner and partner-to-RTL5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, RTL5 versus PLCL1 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.70.
