Across TCGA patient cohorts, RTL1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,377 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RTL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are UQCR10, FCER1A, and ATP5MPL. Each is linked with RTL1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RTL1-to-partner and partner-to-RTL1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, UQCR10 grouped by RTL1-low versus RTL1-high in SKCM.
