Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RSL1D1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RSL1D1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RSL1D1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RSL1D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where RSL1D1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
