Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RRS1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RRS1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher RRS1-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RRS1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

LUSC, BRCA, and DLBC are the cancer types where RRS1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
