Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RRP1B mass-spec protein differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RRP1B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RRP1B mass-spec protein is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RRP1B is over-expressed in tumor.

COAD, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where RRP1B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
