Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS5P7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS5P7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPS5P7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS5P7 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD are the cancer types where RPS5P7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
