Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPS5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 64 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPS5-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-129P, MIR5591, and MIR4301. Each is linked with RPS5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPS5-to-partner and partner-to-RPS5 results are reported.
