Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS4Y1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS4Y1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher RPS4Y1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS4Y1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where RPS4Y1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
