Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS26P34 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS26P34’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RPS26P34 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS26P34 is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where RPS26P34 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
