Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS26 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS26 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RPS26 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and COAD are the cancer types where RPS26 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
