Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS24P16 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS24P16’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPS24P16 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS24P16 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPS24P16 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
