Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS15AP28 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS15AP28’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPS15AP28 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS15AP28 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPS15AP28 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
