Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPS13 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 21,718 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPS13-associated genes across cancer lineages are N4BP2L1, PLCL1, and APBB1. Each is linked with RPS13 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPS13-to-partner and partner-to-RPS13 results are reported.
