Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL8P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL8P2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RPL8P2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL8P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, CHOL, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPL8P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
