Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7AP25 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL7AP25’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where RPL7AP25 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL7AP25 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as ESCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PRAD, ESCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where RPL7AP25 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
