Across TCGA cell cohorts, RPL5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6 significant associations in total. CNS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MMP26, FTMT, and AVPR1B. Each is linked with RPL5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL5-to-partner and partner-to-RPL5 results are reported.
