Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL37AP8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL37AP8 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher RPL37AP8 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL37AP8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and GBM show a favorable association.

KIRP, UVM, and PAAD are the cancer types where RPL37AP8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
