Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL31P59 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL31P59 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RPL31P59 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL31P59 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LAML show a favorable association.

LIHC, HNSC, and KIRC are the cancer types where RPL31P59 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
