Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL28 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL28-associated genes across cancer lineages are IGFBP2, MEK1, and p21. Each is linked with RPL28 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL28-to-partner and partner-to-RPL28 results are reported.
