Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL27A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL27A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher RPL27A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL27A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where RPL27A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
