Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL27 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL27 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RPL27 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where RPL27 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
