The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPL23AP86 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL23AP86 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and KIRC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and KIRC are the cancer types where RPL23AP86 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
