Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL23AP81 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL23AP81 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher RPL23AP81 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL23AP81 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and PAAD show a favorable association.

LGG, KICH, and KIRP are the cancer types where RPL23AP81 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
