Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL23AP68 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL23AP68’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RPL23AP68 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL23AP68 is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPL23AP68 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
