Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL23 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 14,195 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL23-associated proteins across cancer lineages are ZC3H14, ZNF830_S351, and UTP20. Each is linked with RPL23 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL23-to-partner and partner-to-RPL23 results are reported.
