Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL21P65 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL21P65’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPL21P65 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL21P65 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where RPL21P65 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
