Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL21 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RPL21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, UCS, and UCEC are the cancer types where RPL21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
