Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL21 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPL21 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher RPL21 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where RPL21 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
