Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL21 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 157 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL21-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU1-15P, LIMS4, and RNU6ATAC21P. Each is linked with RPL21 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL21-to-partner and partner-to-RPL21 results are reported.
