Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL18A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,729 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL18A-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZNF540, N4BP2L1, and APBB1. Each is linked with RPL18A in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL18A-to-partner and partner-to-RPL18A results are reported.
