Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL14P1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL14P1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RPL14P1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL14P1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and BRCA show a favorable association.
ACC, KICH, and THCA are the cancer types where RPL14P1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
