Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPH3AL RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPH3AL data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPH3AL RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPH3AL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and MESO show a favorable association.

BLCA, UVM, and LUSC are the cancer types where RPH3AL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
