Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RP1 data layer compared with 12 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RP1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where RP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
