Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6ATAC6P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6ATAC6P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where RNU6ATAC6P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6ATAC6P is over-expressed in tumor.
KIRC are the cancer types where RNU6ATAC6P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
