Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6ATAC32P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6ATAC32P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where RNU6ATAC32P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6ATAC32P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as CHOL and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
KICH, CHOL, and THCA are the cancer types where RNU6ATAC32P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
