Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6ATAC24P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6ATAC24P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RNU6ATAC24P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6ATAC24P is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RNU6ATAC24P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
