RNU6-878P

associated omics data
RNA, U6 small nuclear 878, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-878P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-878P expression is associated with patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in THCA. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-878P is differentially expressed in 4, with the highest sampling consensus in PAAD. Additionally, RNU6-878P RNA expression shows 11,749 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THYM. Together, these results highlight THCA, PAAD, and THYM as cancer lineages where RNU6-878P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-878P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-878P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (15). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-878P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-878P expression shows unfavorable associations in THCA, KIRP, LUSC, READ and MESO, but favorable associations in BRCA. The THCA Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p < 0.001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify THCA as the clearest survival context for RNU6-878P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-878P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-878P shows lower tumor expression in LUSC, LUAD and COAD and higher tumor expression in PAAD. The PAAD box plot shows higher RNU6-878P RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +1.085, t-test p = .001).
