RNU6-856P

associated omics data
RNA, U6 small nuclear 856, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-856P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-856P expression is associated with patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRC. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-856P is differentially expressed in 8, with the highest sampling consensus in BLCA. Additionally, RNU6-856P RNA expression shows 16,680 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THYM. Together, these results highlight KIRC, BLCA, and THYM as cancer lineages where RNU6-856P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-856P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-856P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (17). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-856P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-856P expression shows unfavorable associations in KIRC, UCEC, LGG and LIHC, but favorable associations in LUAD and SKCM. The KIRC Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p = .003). Together, the overview and detailed table identify KIRC as the clearest survival context for RNU6-856P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-856P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-856P shows higher tumor expression in BLCA, KICH, BRCA, CHOL, STAD and LUAD. The BLCA box plot shows higher RNU6-856P RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +0.977, t-test p < 0.001).
