Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-63P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6-63P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RNU6-63P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6-63P is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where RNU6-63P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
