Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-430P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RNU6-430P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where RNU6-430P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RNU6-430P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
UCEC, STAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNU6-430P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
