RNA, U6 small nuclear 3, pseudogeneGenealiases: RNU6-3 · U6-3

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-3P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-3P expression is associated with patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in MESO. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-3P is differentially expressed in 4, with the highest sampling consensus in HNSC. Additionally, RNU6-3P RNA expression shows 5,736 significant protein co-abundance associations, with the highest sampling consensus in LUAD. Together, these results highlight MESO, HNSC, and LUAD as cancer lineages where RNU6-3P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-3P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-3P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (13). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-3P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-3P expression shows unfavorable associations in MESO, KICH, LUAD, UVM, READ and DLBC. The MESO Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p < 0.001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify MESO as the clearest survival context for RNU6-3P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-3P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-3P shows lower tumor expression in HNSC and COAD and higher tumor expression in LUSC and LUAD. The HNSC box plot shows higher RNU6-3P RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.090, t-test p = .020).
