RNU6-242P

associated omics data
RNA, U6 small nuclear 242, pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored RNU6-242P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. RNU6-242P expression is associated with patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRP. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, RNU6-242P is differentially expressed in 6, with the highest sampling consensus in THCA. Additionally, RNU6-242P RNA expression shows 8,499 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THYM. Together, these results highlight KIRP, THCA, and THYM as cancer lineages where RNU6-242P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes RNU6-242P survival associations across molecular data types. RNU6-242P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (11). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible RNU6-242P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High RNU6-242P expression shows unfavorable associations in KIRP, READ and HNSC, but favorable associations in SKCM, UCS and LIHC. The KIRP Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p < 0.001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify KIRP as the clearest survival context for RNU6-242P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for RNU6-242P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. RNU6-242P shows lower tumor expression in THCA, BRCA, LUAD, LUSC, KICH and COAD. The THCA box plot shows higher RNU6-242P RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.995, t-test p < 0.001).
