Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-208P RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-208P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU6-208P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-208P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and ACC show a favorable association.

SKCM, THYM, and LUSC are the cancer types where RNU6-208P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
