Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-158P RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-158P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RNU6-158P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-158P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, PAAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where RNU6-158P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
