Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU6-1231P RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU6-1231P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RNU6-1231P RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU6-1231P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BRCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where RNU6-1231P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
