Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU5D-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU5D-1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher RNU5D-1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU5D-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and LUAD show a favorable association.

UVM, HNSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where RNU5D-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
