Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RNU5A-3P RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RNU5A-3P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RNU5A-3P RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RNU5A-3P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PRAD and LAML show a favorable association.

LIHC, CHOL, and KICH are the cancer types where RNU5A-3P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
